The Journey
It all started with a humble backgammon board and an odyssey of discovery to make the perfect gift for someone special. Gaming boards were somewhat bland in the 1970’s and the aim was to create a luxury leather backed version that would stand out above all others. This led to a journey to find the finest leathers, conceive the most innovative of clasps and develop a new level of craftsmanship. This outcome was the creation of the most stunning backgammon board available and the notion to create more leather products. What came next was revolutionary. The development and design of further luxury leather goods including luggage, bags and accessories, which changed the face of affordable luxury throughout the UK.
This is where Gino Ferrari’s journey really began. Traveling to the four corners of the globe in search of the best materials, most innovative finishes and the finest craftsmanship available. From Tuscany to Buenos Aires, no stone was left unturned in pursuit of a new levels of quality and a unique understanding of timeless luxury.
